Lots to do around the area (Jet Boat Ride, other beaches). Had a good time relaxing. Park was clean and staff was always nice and helpful. Wi-Fi worked great all the time. Would come back again. Got a little windy in the early evening.
Excellent place, clean, close and friendly. Staff seems to be always around to help out with info or camping needs. Parking is a little rough with the tight streets. Nightly rate was a guess as wife has the numbers and she is out sightseeing with the grandkids.
Very friendly staff, cute decorations in the park. Everyone wants to help. Near to the new Sheridan Inn for a heck of a meal, ghost(s) included at no charge. Would definitely stay here again. Close to some Indian Wars sites, and Custer's last stand. Great campground.
Too much isolation with no cell service, no Wi-Fi, no cable and no TV, we were very isolated with an elderly mom-in-law in another state. Pay phone in the RV park did not work as well as the one in the main lodge. Nearest phone was down by the customer service office for the park not the lodge. But the staff was excellent, knowledgeable, friendly and very courteous. They were from around the US. In June we still got some snow especially at higher elevations.
Park was good for a one niter, but the staff was abrupt. OK, we were just passing through. Would look for another spot to try out on the way to Yellowstone.
Great place to stay, and catch the train to the Grand Canyon. Looks brand new, trees are small and everything is "new." Has a clean and secure laundry and shower area. Wow, and they even give you soap and shampoo in the showers. A common area has a fire pit, along with 4 gas BBQ grills to use.
